Jennifer McCoach ran the Occupational Lung Disease Service at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. She developed the method for generating nitrogen trichloride and established this as a cause of occupational asthma from exposures in indoor swimming pools. She is now a priest in the Church of England and is Revd Jennifer Croft.
