Wasif Anees was a research registrar for the Oasys team. He studied quality criteria and produced a new method of computationally deciding whether a serial peak flow record shows an occupational effect. This method has been nicknamed the Wasif score and is the difference between all exposed (work) and all non exposed (rest) readings. It can be expressed in L/min or preferably as a percentage of predicted. He is now a chest physician in Guernsey (a remote island just off the French coast, but sort of part of the UK).
Wasif is involved with the following papers on occupational asthma.
