Vaping causing interstial lung disease?

There is medical enthusiasm for promoting vaping as a safer form of nicotine administration. This is one of several reports of interstitial lung disease (here RBILD) associated with a change from cigarettes to vaping (with ?a Royale Refillable E-Vapour device with Tsunami White Spirits Vaporizer E-Liquid E-Juice). The patient had successfully completed chemotherapy for a germ cell tumour with lung metastases, which might have primed the lung to cause the interstitial lung disease. The report has good histology from an open lung biopsy and recovery following vaping cessation.
