First Time Use of the Vitalograph Asma-1

The Vitalograph Asma-1 meter requires a driver, which should install automatically, but in some cases does not. Please follow these instructions the first time you use an Asma-1 meter on a new Computer.

1. Make sure Oasys is installed (you can download Oasys here)
2. Plug in the Asma-1 and put it into remote mode (hold the up arrow down while switching it on)
3. At this point the computer will search for a driver, and should install it automatically.
   

If the driver does not install automatically you will need to do the following:

1. Download the Asma-1 driver from this website (which is a zip file).
   
2. Unzip the file and run Model4000Driver.exe
3. Wait for the installation to finish
4. Plug in the Asma-1 and put it into remote mode (hold down the up-arrow while switching it on)
5. At this point the computer should now find the installed driver
   

Once this is done you can open Oasys and follow the normal Asma-1 Download Instructions
