Patient details file corrupted

The following error messages can be shown when opening the patient details file.

"The patient details file you are opening has been created with a newer version of Oasys than this one. Please upgrade your version of Oasys"

From time to time Oasys will make changes to the format of the patient details file as the program is developed and users request additional features. If you are using an older version of Oasys it will not be able to read in the new patient details file and will show this message. Simply Download the latest version of Oasys and the message should go away. Sorry for the inconvenience.

"The patient details file you are trying to open has been tampered with. Oasys will not open the file for security reasons."

Oasys checks that the patient details file has not been corrupted or tampered with when opening. If there is a problem then Oasys will refuse to load the patient details. It is a good idea to back up your patient details file regularly.

This is a security measure that Oasys needs to make sure that your records are adequately protected.
