Example personal details file |
|
No personal details are ever sent to or stored on the Oasys Server.
The file below shows an example personal details file. Each person using Oasys will have one of these files containing the personal details of the patients that they analyse using Oasys.
This file is the method by which the Oasys Server contains only anonymous data but at the same time allows users to search by patient name, patient id etc. All this information is stored in the personal details file (example below) on the users computer.
This data is never sent to or stored on the Oasys Server.
All searching using personal details is done on the users local computer. The "internetrecordid" (from the file below) is then sent to the Oasys Server, which looks up the anonymous data for this number and returns it.
The "hash" parts of the file are used to detect when changes are made to the personal details file outside of Oasys.
