Nurses at increased risk of occupational asthma in Texas
Nurses cleaning medical instruments doing general cleaning increased the risk of new-onset asthma. Use of powdered latex gloves during 1992–2000 was associated with 1.6 times the odds of reported asthma, but was not increased after this suggesting that latex allergy was under control
