Can Oasys read from digital peak flow meters?
Do you have any experience with instruments that digitally record peak flows e.g. PIKO 1. Can the results obtained from such instruments be used with OASYS?

We have used the Ferraris Piko 1, the Vitalograph Diary, the NDD EasyOne and some MIR spirometers. The Oasys-2 Beta version of the software (which is available for free) cannot read data from any of these meters.
The new version of Oasys which we use here can read data from all these meters. It also stores and displays individual flow volume loops from the EasyOne. Unfortunately this version is not publicy available. We would like to make it available to all, but it is currently our only leverage in securing funding. If we receive enough funding to ensure the long term health of the project then we will make it freely available. We estimate that this would require salaries for a full time programmer and a full time researcher.

The new version can read from Mini-Wright Digital Oasys meters and the Vitalograph Asma-1 (which has a cheaper Oasys options compared to buying the Vitalgraph software). You can download the new version of Oasys using the link below.
