Occupational History

You ask her about her job. When she first developed symptoms at the age of 20, she was soldering large printed circuit boards for telephones. She noticed she got tight in the chest when soldering and she was better on days at home; at that time she was waking up sort of breath at night and got progressively worse with each working day and improved on holidays. She had some eye irritation and some throat irritation but no problems with her nose. In her current job she was substantially better when extraction was put into the soldering iron. When she was doing regular soldering she was worse than when in her current job of inspection but she noticed that her symptoms were substantially better during holidays.
