Abstract

Exposure to grain dust gives rise to many respiratory problems. Since the growing, transporting and processing of grain are major Canadian industries, the number of individuals who might be affected by such exposure is sizeable. This paper describes clinical syndromes related to grain dust exposure, together with predisposing host factors, in an attempt to determine what levels of exposure are "safe" for workers and what areas still require extensive research
