Pulmonary Test Results


I do not understand the following. My pulmomary test results are as shown below.
FEV 1/%
FE 1.95
FEC 1.95
Occupational Asthma, Worker, 2/20/2006, 2/20/2006,

These tests do not make sense.
It could be interpreted as showing an FEV1 of 1.95 litres (the volume that you breathed out in one second)
Forced vital capacity 1.95 litres (ie the total ammount breathes out), showing either that you stopped breathing out after one second, or that expiration was complete in one second (very unusual in an adult)
The proportion of air breathed out in 1 second compared to the vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) was 100% (sometimes called the FEV1%)
You need to compare these with the predicted values for somebody of you age, sex, height and race to know whether they are normal or not.
